Founder & Creator, PassDipPFS
I'm transitioning into UK financial services and sitting the CII DipPFS myself. I built this platform because the study tools I needed didn't exist — so I made them.
I'm an operations team leader with a background in distribution, where I've developed real skills in people management, process improvement, and leading teams under pressure. That operational discipline shapes how I approach everything — including studying for one of the most demanding qualification routes in UK financial services.
My career pivot into financial planning isn't theoretical. I'm actively sitting the CII DipPFS examinations, having passed R01 at 77%, and I hold a CISI Level 3 International Certificate in Wealth Management alongside a sociology degree. The goal is a paraplanning or trainee adviser role — and every module I build for PassDipPFS is one I'm working through myself.
I'm not selling a course made by someone who sat these exams a decade ago. I'm sharing the tools that are getting me through them right now — built the way I wished they'd existed.
After passing R01, I found myself frustrated with the available study options. Textbooks are dense. Past paper PDFs are static. Most revision sites feel like they were built for the syllabus, not for the person trying to pass in six weeks while working full time.
I also have a genuine interest in markets and investing — I actively manage my own Stocks & Shares ISA and Lifetime ISA across growth equities and macro themes. When I write about investment principles, portfolio construction, or risk, I'm drawing on real understanding, not just textbook definitions. That perspective makes a difference when you're trying to actually understand the material rather than memorise it.
PassDipPFS exists because I wanted a smarter way to prepare — and I had the skills to build it.
Every module I release is one I'm actively studying for. The content reflects what the exam actually tests, not just the textbook headings.
I study around a full-time management role. Every feature — flashcards, topic drills, and mock exams — is built for focused revision in short windows.
I actively invest and follow markets. When I write about investment risk or portfolio theory, I'm drawing on real experience — not just syllabus definitions.
As I progress through the diploma, new modules get added. You're not buying a static resource — you're using something built alongside the same journey.
Questions about the content, suggestions for what would help your revision, or just want to say hi — I read every email. Reach me at hello@passr0exams.com.
Good luck with your exams. We're in this together.
